Kathy Lette first achieved succes de scandal as a teenager with the novel “Puberty Blues”, which was made into a major film and a TV mini-series. After several years as a newspaper columnist and TV sitcom writer (“The Facts of Life,” Columbia Pictures) she’s written 14 international bestsellers in her characteristic witty voice, including her latest best seller, “The Revenge Club”, “Mad Cows”, (made into a film staring Anna Friel and Joanna Lumley) ; “How to Kill Your Husband – and Other Handy Household Hints” (staged by the Victorian opera) with “The Boy Who Fell to Earth” , “HRT – Husband Replacement Therapy” and “Best Laid Plans” all in film development.
She divides her time between Sydney and London, where she can often be found at The Savoy, drinking a cocktail named after her to celebrate her stint as writer-in-residence. Kathy is an autodidact (a word she taught herself) but has honorary doctorates from Southampton Solent University and Wollongong Universities and a Senior Fellowship from London’s Regents University.
She is also an ambassador for Their World, the National Autistic Society and Ambitious About Autism.
