“Alone we can do so little;
together we can do so much.”
Helen Keller
Change often starts with just one person doing one small thing but it takes teamwork to see that change grow into something lasting and meaningful. Ending sexism in schools isn’t going to happen overnight. In fact, it’s going to take a considerable effort over a long period of time — after all, we’re unpicking centuries of patriarchal conditioning and expectations! That’s why we want as many people as possible to get involved.
Whether you can offer a one-off half an hour to research a single school for our crowdresearch project, or you want to become a long term volunteer with our campaign team, we’ve got tons of opportunities for you to help out.
You could:
- Become a crowdresearcher
- Help us out with social media or blog content
- Volunteer to help build our network and connect with other relevant organisations
- Identify or create useful resources that we can share and signpost to
Or do anything else that helps us work towards our goal of ending sexism in schools by 2025!
Whether you have a specific amount of time to offer, a specific thing you’d like to volunteer to do, or you want to get involved but have no idea how to start, get in touch by emailing endsexisminschools@gmail.com or complete the form below, and one of our team will be in touch to find the perfect role for you.
